Dear Representative Palazzo:
Dear Senator Cochran:
Dear Senator Wicker:

As you know, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was passed in the middle of the night and without the support of the American people. I am calling on you as one of your constituents to stop this legislation by De-funding its implementation until the law can be repealed and replaced with legislation that benefits the citizens of the United States of America.

You were elected into office to represent the values and needs of those of us who live in your State and District. The passage of this legislation was an abdication of the oath lawmakers took when sworn into office and I hope you will do the right thing now and stop the law from being fully implemented and work to enact real reform to our heath care system based on free market principles, not government interference. Americans enjoy the best care system in the world and this legislation harms the very people it pretends to help.

As the Mother of a US Marine , who has 4 tour of duty , in Iraq and Afghanistan under his belt and looking at another next year,, MY biggest concern is how this effects them.. You are GUTTING the Military to give heath care to people that have not earned it.. I want a answer, to why our VETS are having to buy outside heath care insurance because the BILOXI VA will not TREAT THEM...

Also what is good enough for all of US , should be good enough for you and YOUR staff.. I understand they get no subsidy from the bill. Sorry but their will be a lot of people that do NOT get one either because it SHOULD BE income based, HOW Dare you take $11,000 MORE from the US people for each of yourselves and over payed staff..

I think you Value YOURSELVES to MUCH....2014 is coming, and you may be going,,

Mississippi Gulf Coast TEA Party Event
Charles Purchner
Phone: 228-313-1048
Agenda 21, a United Nations program which will directly affect all Americans, will be a focus when the Mississippi Gulf Coast TEA Party hosts their annual event from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the Gulfport Sportsplex.
Scheduled speakers John Caplinger, Cindy Wood Wilkerson and Gina Miller will address issues of importance to voters including the purpose and potential impact of the United Nations Agenda 21and how it would affect housing, gun control and smart codes for citizens locally and nationally as well as globally.
Agenda 21 is also known as "smart growth" and is seen by many to be one of the greatest threats to freedom.  The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division for Sustainable Development created Agenda 21 as an environmental sustainability agenda.
"Agenda 21 is an insidious movement towards a world government and, therefore, a necessary relinquishment of United States sovereignty," said Tim Menius of Biloxi, a member of the TEA Party committee. "It is incumbent on all patriotic Americans to understand just what Agenda 21 is, to recognize it and to stop its imposition. Trust me. This is being imposed from the bottom up, beginning with our local and county governments."
"Our speakers will talk about the state of our nation, where we are headed if our government does not get spending under control, and how we as patriots must get out the vote in November to affect positive change," stated Charlie Purchner of Long Beach, one of the event organizers.  "They will also discuss the many radical changes which have taken place since our last general election, and how those changes impact us."
"We must remember that silence is permission, " said John Caplinger of Diamondhead, one of the TEA Party's speakers. "A conservative estimate of how much money illegal aliens cost the U.S. taxpayer is rounded off to to $338 billion every year.  Citizens should come to the TEA Party event and learn how this happens."
"The November election will be the most important election in our lifetime," said Purchner who added that in addition to providing information, the event will also provide voter registration assistance.
"We must take our country back. We have no choice," agreed Ralph Zuleeg of Pass Christian, a member of the TEA Party committee.  "Since the last presidential election, we have lost freedoms and seen a massive expansion of the power of the executive branch, with little complaining by the citizens of this country."
Purchner said that while the presidential election is seven  months away, voters should attend this TEA Party event in order to learn more about the critical issues America is facing, how those issues could impact citizens individually and what they can do.
There is no admission charge and the concession stand will be open.  Persons who attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, signs and flags.  The Sportsplex is located at at 1117 Seventh Ave. in Gulfport, just north of I-10 Canal Road Exit 31.

Tax Day Tea Party

"Conservatism is the true majority. We cannot remain silent any longer. The Tea Party movement has begun and we can either get on and help out, or be guilty of what Samuel Adams warned against,
"A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader."

That was from our first event in 2009 , We are still here and Still fighting to save our Country.

Please come join us again. Monday, April 16th, 2012 6:00pm to 9:00 pm @ the SportsPlex in Gulfport , Bring chairs , sign and flags. Concession Stand will be open.

Palazzo wakes up as Congressman-elect PDF Print E-mail
Written by Terri Brewer

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) – Steven Palazzo ran a campaign based on two key words: Fire Pelosi. In a way, the republican has done just that, upsetting Gene Taylor, the democrat who represented south Mississippi on Capitol Hill for 21 years.

When the final ballot was counted at just before midnight, Palazzo received 101,318 votes, and led the incumbent by five percentage points.   During his acceptance speech, Palazzo got the crowd in a frenzy by saying, "The first thing I'm going to do is fire Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House."

Palazzo will be part of the majority in the House of Representatives. That's because the midterm elections proved to be a crowning moment for the GOP. Republicans regained control of the house, and in the process, made it possible for John Boehner to unseat Pelosi as house speaker.

At Taylor's post election headquarters, the outgoing congressman joked that it was time to go fishing.  "A lot of people don't get to live their dreams for five minutes," Taylor said.  "I got do it for 21 years.

"I have had the greatest privilege anyone has ever had serving in the House of Representatives."

That distinction now goes to Palazzo.  "It was a historic election for south Mississippi.  What we did today was we went to the polls and voted to repeal the government takeover of healthcare," Palazzo said.  "Let's celebrate because tomorrow the work begins.  Thank you and God bless you all."

Press release for Steven Palazzo running for 4th Congressional district MS PDF Print E-mail
Written by Terri Brewer
Friday, 22 October 2010 23:41

The Mississippi Gulf Coast TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party in conjunction with the 912/We Surround Them Project in Ocean Springs endorsed Republican Steven Palazzo in the Mississippi Fourth District Congressional race at a meeting October 11 at the St. Martin Community Center.

Palazzo, a State Representative from Biloxi, is running against Democratic incumbent Gene Taylor in the November 2 election.

Arnold Murphy of Gulfport delivered the joint endorsement of Palazzo for the two groups that are local grassroots movements committed to returning the power in Washington to individuals who believe in the sanctity of the Constitution of the United States which grants only specified powers to the federal government.  Under the Tenth Amendment, any powers not thusly granted shall be enjoyed by the

States and the People.

"We are endorsing Palazzo over Taylor  because we believe that Palazzo understands that the federal government cannot solve the problems of the country. It is best when the federal government allows the American people the freedom to do it for themselves," said Murphy. "Our government is out of control

under Obama, Pelosi and Reid, and Taylor supported all for their leadership jobs."

After the meeting, representatives of the Mississippi Gulf Coast TEA Party supported the TEA Party's endorsement:

"Both groups feel Steve is a military veteran who more accurately reflects the true conservative values of

the majority of the Mississippi Fourth Congressional district, and that he will not bow to the progressives

in the U.S. House of Representatives." Charlie Purchner of Long Beach

"We are supporting Palazzo foremost because our government is totally out of control, ignoring the protections and safeguards protected by the Constitution.  We must take back our country and I don't know how else to do it besides changing our representation.  Everything I have heard from Palazzo agrees with my philosophy and, I suspect, the philosophy of all like-minded conservatives."  Ralph Zuleg of Pass Christian

"Most of our members long ago shed the label of Republican or Democrat. Most consider themselves Constitutionalists and will cast their votes for the candidate who most shares their views on the power

of the federal government. Steven Palazzo is our choice in the upcoming election. He understands the Constitution and more importantly has read and understands the Tenth Amendment. If the size and

power of the federal government is not drastically reduced in the very near future, individual rights,

liberties and responsibilities will fall by the wayside and all Americans will simply become part of the

“collective”. Palazzo, we are confident, will be vigilant in his duties to restore traditional American

values and principles. He will say what he means and mean what he says."  Tim Menius of Gulfport

"It is vital to have a Congressional representative who will represent the views and votes of his

constituents.  We believe that Steven Palazzo better represents the conservative views and votes

of the people of the Mississippi Fourth Congressional District.  It is also crucial to replace the current

majority in the House of Representatives that has initiated and pushed through a progressive agenda

that most Americans don't want or support."  Terry Fountain of Ocean Springs.

On behalf of the two groups, Murphy encouraged Palazzo to make jobs a top priority upon election.

We would ask you all to get out and VOTE for Steven Palazzo for the 4th District and if you can Help ,

contact Steven's Offices ,Thanks Terri L Brewer
